Support a Family Devastated by LA Fires

Donation protected
***UPDATED 1.12.25- message of thanks from the Marrone family*****

“We are overwhelmed by all of the donations, text messages/phone calls and social media messages we’ve received thus far. From grade school and college friends to former and current colleagues. Associates, strangers, our kid’s school communities, family members and friends close and far, the outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming. The devastation of our loss has been lessened by all of your meaningful words. It has given us hope when we felt like starting over was impossible. We will never be able to thank you enough for this over abundance of generosity and support at our lowest time. We hate that this situation has to be the catalyst for us to realize how incredible our world is, but we truly have a new appreciation for how lucky we are to be a part of our community. These words are NOT enough and will NEVER be enough to show our appreciation, but THANK YOU.

I apologize if we haven’t responded to a message. I have been doing my best to get back to everyone. Honestly just talking with friends and family has been getting us through the days. Once we get a little more settled, I will be reaching out to each of you personally to attempt to express our gratitude.

At this point, the monetary support we’ve received is beyond what we thought was possible. I can’t believe I can even say this but I know we will be ok. If anyone is still looking to support others in the community, we thought we’d point you toward some other options:

With love,
The Marrones"

As many people know, Los Angeles has had multiple fires break out in the last 24 hours that have been devastating. To see it with your own eyes is something I can't describe. The destruction is so much worse than anything you could imagine.

My family and I have been fortunate, but my nephews and brother and sister-in-law have not been so. Their house burned to the ground and they lost everything. They lost their belongings. They lost their memories. They lost their livelihood, as my brother-in-law worked from his home out of his studio. All of his equipment is just gone. They have no home. They have no belongings. They have two small children, 3 and 5, and nowhere to live.

If I have seen anything in the last 24 hours, it has been humanity at its finest. I have seen people rally and reach out, offering up anything they can to help those in need. It has been inspiring, to say the least. So I ask, if you have anything to give to help them rebuild, please do. They are the best of humanity that I know. Their children are wonderful human beings, and they do not deserve the hand they have been dealt. Anything you can spare would be appreciated beyond words and do more for them than you could imagine. I thank you in advance for anything you can give.
