Welcome to School on the Rise, a small, Waldorf-inspired school that has been a beacon of nature-based education for many years. Nestled within eight acres of enchanting land, our school is a place where children, educators, and families come together to create something truly magical. This land, maintained by the community, is not just a school—it's a living testament to what we can achieve when we nurture both the earth and the young minds that explore it.

In addition to hosting our vibrant school community, this beautiful land is also home to Banyan Forest Kindergarten, a Waldorf kindergarten that shares our commitment to fostering a deep connection with nature. Together, we are creating a space where children can grow, learn, and thrive, surrounded by the wonders of the natural world.

Our Goal: A Farm Vehicle with a trailer to Transform the Land

Our vision is to transform these eight acres into a thriving garden and a magical forest, where our children can learn about the cycles of nature, the joy of growing their own food, and the importance of stewardship. To bring this vision to life, we need your help.

Our campaign's main goal is to raise funds for a farm vehicle—specifically, a ride-on mower/tractor. This essential piece of equipment will allow us to clear out areas, prepare them for gardening and play, and maintain the land in a way that supports our educational goals. With this vehicle, we can make the land more accessible, create new spaces for exploration, and ensure that our children have a safe and beautiful environment to learn and play. We are also planning to purchase a trailer that will attach to the mower/tractor. With the funds we will purchase needed farm equipment and material such as wheelbarrows, compost, shovels and more!

Your contributions will go directly to School on the Rise, supporting not just the school but also the children of Banyan Forest Kindergarten who benefit from this shared space. Together, we can create a place where every child can experience the magic of nature and the satisfaction of working the land.
