Support a Headstone for Waylon Elsberry
Waylon Elsberry was an incredibly talented songwriter, musician, and performer. Her energy was infectious and spending time with her was like nothing else. She was a generous friend, hilarious and witty, and navigated the world in her very own vibrant, special way. Her songs have reached out to touch and inspire so many people, and we feel her loss deeply.
You can watch her live performances and music videos on Youtube, listen to demos and albums on Soundcloud and Bandcamp, and find various unreleased songs in this discography.
Last June was difficult. Losing Waylon to pneumonia June 28, 2020 was a surreal nightmare. In the time since, her family has been grieving and searching for the best way to memorialize their beloved daughter. To allow her friends the opportunity to play beside her again, we have designed a dream headstone. All of Waylon's loved ones will be able to remember her here, and I hope it will bring us some peace. Fundraising will benefit Waylon's mama and pops, Tamra and Mark Dollar in realizing this dream of a beautiful plot and headstone.
We are so thankful to everyone who has supported our fundraising so far, we have already printed one run of black and pink T-shirts and hoodies. They are so comfortable and soft and feature the below picture of Waylon at school for audio engineering, where she graduated as valedictorian. If you'd like to support Waylon's headstone by purchasing a T-shirt or hoodie, click here to get one !
Please enjoy Waylon's self described best ever performance of "Dead and Gone", which I never expected to be so soon. "Long after I'm dead and gone," she sings, "I'm gonna be loving you, through these songs".
