About 8 months ago, I started to feel lost within life, within my head, and definitely losing the plot. I've tried different avenues to help pursue my avenue of peace and what I'm looking for out of life and what I find enjoyable. What I found is that my own way of dealing with things is to take a bike ride. I love New York City. I went there as a kid and it's been my dream to go back as an adult, and I couldn't think of a better time to slow the world down and visit the capital of the world.

I've gone through immense mental health battles over the last eight months, all of which has been kept totally inside. I lost my father to suicide a few years ago. I have two beautiful boys that I should radiate for and that this walk is for and I hope to make them so proud. I don't think any of you out there really understand the depths of where I was at from a loneliness standpoint, and from, I know where to go standpoint and not knowing what to do.

I'm using this bike ride as a personal journey. Along with my amazing best friend dog Hazel, of course. There is no doubt I will make it to New York City and along the way. I'd like to make some money for some charity and try to create some awareness about dudes and needing to seek help. And being okay to seek help and knowing how to seek help. Actually, for all people for that matter. I'm so excited to take this journey and hopefully meet amazing people and see gorgeous America and trust me. I will send tons of videos and pictures.
