Support a Heartfelt Farewell for Ernesto

Hello, my name is Marquasha. I come to you with a heavy heart because I have recently lost my father, Ernesto Ramos, due to heart failure. This was completely unexpected, and as his only child and only living family, I'm really just lost at this point. I can't afford to have him cremated or buried, and I'm just trying to get together enough to put him to rest.

My dad fought a long battle with having emergency heart surgery that helped him live a little bit longer, but sadly, he still ended up passing away from a heart attack. No one deserves to go the way that my dad did, in a hospital alone. All I want is for my dad to be put to rest the way that he deserves to. I want him to be remembered for all the good memories we had and not how he sadly passed away.

Sadly, I cannot afford any of this, so I'm asking for help to come up with some kind of funds to lay him to rest. Anything helps, even if it's just a dollar; that dollar adds up. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read this. Once again, anything helps, even if it's just a dollar. I'm trying very hard to stay strong throughout all of this, but knowing that I can't even afford to lay him to rest is truly killing me inside. My dad deserves to be laid to rest properly, and I'm doing everything in my power to try and make sure that happens. Asking for all your help is one of the only ways that I know how to get this done. I work full-time and am just barely surviving. I live week to week just to get by and can use any and all help at this point. I never ask anyone for anything, but I feel like at this point, I need to ask for help. Once again, even if it's just a dollar, that dollar adds up. Anything helps. So far we have $1,500 raised up and we got $480 from DSS. Funeral expenses are $4,000. I gratefully appreciate every single one of you that are helping me to lay my father to rest properly. The funeral is on Friday we need to come up with the rest by Thursday. I am so thankful for everyone’s kindness during these hard times.
