I am a 17-year-old high school student filmmaker based in Anne Arundel, MD. I have a lot of passion for the subject, and I really want to continue pursuing it. However, working with a $0 budget and no equipment of my own, it takes a very long time and limits what I can pursue creatively. Despite this, I feel blessed to have been able to make two award-winning, socially popular short films even with my limited access to any equipment or crew. The numerous experiences those films have provided me have instilled the confidence in me that I can do this, and I feel ready to make my first investment in some equipment!

On my filmmaking journey, I have been limited to making only silent films sprouting from a lack of audio equipment, and it has taken me over two years to create only two short films (from pre- to post-production) as a result of my lack of camera equipment. It is for this reason that I am seeking financial assistance so I can invest in some quality gear that will allow me to continue creating projects that will help boost my career!

The donations will be used to purchase sound equipment so I can expand my portfolio outside of silent short films, and a camera so I can speed up the production process and create as much quality cinema possible!
