Support a local FF and Paramedic battle cancer.

We at Lower Alsace Volunteer Ambulance Association are working to raise money to help support Chris and his family through his ongoing cancer treatments. Chris is a career Firefighter and Paramedic in Berks County, PA. Chris has served his community in the fire service and emergency medical services as both a volunteer and career FF/Paramedic for over 20 years. He is a husband, a father of 2 young children, and a great friend to many. Through his work, dedication, and overall caring nature, Chris has touched many lives.

Chris is currently undergoing chemotherapy to treat the cancer he was diagnosed with over this past year. The physical nature of his line of work combined with the intense toll chemo takes on his body has forced Chris to take extended leave from his work. Obviously, being out of work for an extended period of time creates a financial strain on a family, and because of this, Chris's EMS family at Lower Alsace Volunteer Ambulance has set up this page in hopes that members of the community will help us lessen the burden on so he can focus on his recovery.
