help a trans kid stay in their home

We are raising money for a parent seeking full custody of their trans child, to make sure she can have the loving, supportive environment she deserves all the time. Living in an unsupportive and hostile environment half the time has been seriously affecting her health and well-being, and she needs to be in her affirming home full time as soon as possible.

A supportive environment is the number one way to reduce harm for trans and gender nonconforming children and youth. Supportive caregivers reduce the risk of mental illness, self harm, and suicide enormously.

This family thankfully lives in a place where the laws will protect their child; unfortunately,  to get the laws applied, they need to go to court, and legal fees are very high for a family that lives paycheck to paycheck. 

The money raised will give them the freedom to take action with the urgency the situation demands, and get their child safe as quickly as possible. Please help as you are able!
