Support Mom's (Lynn) Medical Recovery

My mom recently suffered from an intracranial hemorrhage, also known as a stroke, affecting the right side of her body. She was admitted to the ICU on 7/29 and had to be intubated, placed with an extra ventricular drain to decrease the amount of pressure built up in her head from the bleed, and required a tube for feeding. She has made some good recovery physically over the course of the last few weeks, but due to ongoing deficits of right sided weakness, coordination issues, and other deficits present after a stroke she is unable to return to work for a prolonged period of time, if at all.

She has been the main support and breadwinner of our household my entire life and now that she is unable to work, she will need all the help she can get to pay for her medical bills and ongoing rehabilitation including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to regain as much function and independence as possible. Anyone who knows Lynn, knows that she has the sweetest and most gentle soul, extremely hardworking, always willing to help others, and is fiercely independent.
