Help for a place to call home

Hi all, my name is Tyree and as most of you know, I’ve had a rough 2023. I’ve negatively affected the friends and family I had around me and I’m now trying to right my wrongs. From the lost of my 8 year relationship, my declining mental health, a cancer scare from my mom, suicidal thoughts, and so much more in between. Thankfully with your help, I was able to pay for and get the outpatient therapy I needed to keep my job.

Now I'm trying to get back on my feet. The only thing is that the disability income was half of what I make normally, and I’m trying desperately to catch up to start over. I'm scared I will emotionally go backwards. My first step is securing a new apartment before my lease ends. I found a beautiful place that I'm trying to secure for Feb 1st with a down of $3000 (month and a half security deposit & broker fees due to my poor credit I destroyed in my 20s). I secured about $1000 with savings & even doing Lyft and Door Dash but I’m still terribly short.

I’m not looking for furniture or any fancy living. I don't need internet or the latest rugs. I just want a peaceful home to live in. I’m comfortable on a floor and air mattress if I can start again with peace of mind. While I don’t think I’m close to being homeless, I’m thankful to anyone who can give & when I’m able to be fully back on my feet, I’d like to give back or pay it forward. Thank you all.
