Support a Parent's Journey to See Brody

I'm very humbly reaching out to friends and family. If you know me, you know that I've been struggling a great deal as of late. Most importantly, I haven't been able to see my 16-year-old son, Brody, since last summer. He lives in Florida, and I haven't been in any position to afford to go see him.

I have found an opportunity where I may be able to drive down there with a friend, and she is willing to pay to fly me back. However, I am in no financial situation to do that without help to be able to find lodging and food while I'm there for up to a week. I desperately want to see my son and I don't do well asking for help. I'm putting this out there in hopes that some miracle happens in order to see Brody. I expect nothing, but I'm hoping for the best.

I can't work right now due to health issues. There's no better time than now to go see him. The plan is to leave on September 20th if I can somehow make this work.
