The Persona/SMT fanbase has always been slightly niche when placed against other big-selling video game IPs, yet are no less determined and in love with their series.

This Gofundme seeks to set up a 1 day, Persona based con in Texas in 2026. The con would be a way for people to get together and share their love of the series with like-minded individuals and without the hassle of a large convention whose main focus is on making a profit.

All funds raised on Gofundme go into an account created specifically for the convention itself.

What is the intention for the money being asked for?

-$1500 would cover a 1 day, 1 room venue rental

-$3000 would cover a 2 day, 1 room venue rental

-$200-300 would go to cover a music license

-$200-300 would go to cover a video license

The remainder of around $6000 would go to cover everything else. Some of these items would include security, insurance if needed, medical, incidentals or equipment rentals, badges or bands to identify con-goers and many other things which can add up cost-wise over time.

Any money not needed will always go back into the convention, either for the following year or for providing new things for attendees to do. Maybe even special guests if possible. The staff have decided on an open-book policy, which effectively means we will answer questions regarding where any money gained goes if someone asks.
