Support a Proper Service for Ray Fernandes

Hi, my name is Josh Auclair, my wife and I, Melissa Auclair recently lost a very dear friend, who was like family to us. Our dear friend, Raymond Fernandes, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024. He was one of our best and closest friends who had become family to us, the kind that is always there.

Ray was a welder by trade and loved playing the guitar. He also loved listening to the Grateful Dead, Neil Young, and all kinds of rock and roll. Not too long ago, my wife and I brought Ray to a Dead and Company show. He hadn't been to a concert in years, and let me tell you, the smile and enjoyment he had were worth every penny. He had the time of his life, and it wasn't easy getting him there as he was kind of a homebody.

He had a love for animals that just melted our hearts. Especially when it came to his cats, Miss Flower and her son, the handsome Thomas. He had Flower for 17 years before she passed, and Thomas is now 17, living with my wife and I, along with the sweetest little Sophia.

Ray lived alone. His sister, whom he was very close with, just recently passed away. This man was the kindest person, had a heart so huge, and would do anything he could to help others even though he didn’t have much. But that never stopped Ray. What he did have, he would always try to help others in tough situations, whether that be a ride, fixing a car, food, or just listening and being there for you.

Ray is someone I love dearly, and I hope we can give him a proper service, like the one Ray deserves. So, I’m asking, my family is asking, his family is asking, his cats are asking for our help. So please, if you can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated by all. As soon as we have service dates and times, we will notify anyone on here that would like to know.
