SUPPORT A SABBATICAL for PASTORS MORAN

Greetings: My name is Sylvia Shirk, and I am gathering funds to provide a well-deserved time of sabbatical renewal for two amazing leaders, Samuel & Orfilia Moran, with whom I have the privilege of working as a District Pastor in Pacific Northwest Mennonite Conference.

Joining me on the GoFundMe team are colleagues Irene and David Morrow.

In more than 30 years of nurturing the Ministerios Restauracion congregation in Portland, and supporting a network of Hispanic Mennonite churches in Oregon, these pastors have never taken a sabbatical leave.

Now with your help, Pastors Samuel & Orfilia are looking forward to a special month of rest and renewal, August 15-September 15, 2024.

First, they will spend two weeks in Germany consulting with a missionary colleague. Then for two weeks they will enjoy a rural retreat in Spain with time for writing and reflection.
