Help a Trans Woman Recover from Homelessness

Hi Everyone!
As many of you may know, I became homeless in August 2024. Since then, I packed my car up with anything it would fit and moved 2,100 miles away to live with my chosen family in Los Angeles, California, because my biological family is extremely unsupportive of my identity and who I am.
The last time I moved in with a biological family member was shortly after my ex-boyfriend hit me, and instead of being able to heal, they invited church officials over to call me by my dead name, use language that doesn’t reflect who I am, and attempted to pray the demon away.
I have always had a job and have been able to pay my bills and live somewhat comfortably, but since becoming homeless due to domestic violence, I am suffering with large amounts of debt. My current job has cut my hours to 5 a week, which makes my check roughly $160 every two weeks. I am struggling to make ends meet or find more work here in the city. Every day, I’m side hustling and taking on any job I can find to scrape some more coins together.
As much as I hate to admit it and as much as I would like to feel like I am doing fine financially, I am not. I have incurred large amounts of debts from missing payments over the past few months, with several debt collectors threatening legal action. As well as moving states, receiving medical aid (revision to fix an infection, and mental medical care), and trying to survive when I was out of work from being homeless.
I have been working hard to secure better finances and have had my current resume revised. I’ve also been enrolled in a few social programs including LIFE and Medi-Cal.
I am asking for 15k to help me get back on my feet and secure a better future for myself. Times are tough on everyone, but anything helps. Thank you all so much.
