Support a Trans Woman's Surgery and Care for May
Donation protected
Hello all,
I am a transgender woman. A simple statement that holds unseen, unknown complexity. I just received word that I will be having my bottom surgery sometime in March of this year. I did not expect that this would happen so soon. I have been waiting for this going on 5 years now. But here I am, finally on the last quest.
In my cover photo, you can see me the day I got my dog, Andromeda (May for short). I held her so closely and instantly bonded with her more strongly than I have ever bonded with another being in my life. Because of bottom surgery, I will be unable to care for her like I usually do. I will have my own caretakers during this time, and she will need to stay in a doggy hotel for 10 days. If you are a part of the LGBTQ+ community, you understand that family sometimes for us is not extensive, and I don't want to spread thin the time of the loved ones I have that will be there already taking care of other things.
I ask anyone that can in these trying times to donate anything possible so that May can have a secure, safe, and enjoyable stay in a hotel. This will greatly support me knowing that she will be safe and taken care of. Most importantly, this will mean that I will not get into any harm during recovery, because my little puppy is very energetic and a little difficult to handle when she has really strong emotions.
Thank you for any consideration, so so much.
