Support a Tribute to Brian's Love for Nature

I am one of four kids that our dad, Brian, left behind. We loved him deeply. While growing up, we experienced his passion for nature. He enjoyed activities like hiking, canoeing, camping, and sometimes fishing. He had a fascination with everything, from knives to rocks. He often shared his advice on starting fires and basic survival skills. Our best memories happened when we joined him in his favorite activities. As a family, we hiked at Starved Rock and Matthiessen many times. He truly appreciated the calmness of being outdoors. To honor his memory, we would like to create a park bench to be placed at Starved Rock or Matthiessen.

In lieu of flowers we are asking that people, who wish, to contribute to the creation of a bench in memory of our dad that we can visit when we continue to live out his passion for the outdoors.
