Help: Our Dad & EMS gain access to his home

Hi, my name is Lori & like many others, I am starting a GoFundMe to help our dad after Helene devastated our area.

The funds will be utilized to repair his driveway & allow him to gain access to his home without having to climb a steep bank. Currently, there is no access for an emergency vehicle nor for the electric company to repair the lines & pole damaged at his address.

He is a 75-year-old veteran that has heart, lung, & back issues which is being taxed with his limited access. We are working with On SITE Disaster team & any resources possible to get this fixed before more slides happen. There have been numerous people assess the driveway & it will require a concrete culvert to repair it. The culvert needs to be 180' in length and 5' in diameter. We received a quote out of Charlotte, NC for $51,000 for the culvert without the cost of equipment.

Our family is so thankful for all the volunteers & support that has come into our communities. Our dad's driveway is not an easy fix, nor a cheap repair.
