Support a Vibrant Native Medicine Garden

My name is Brittany, and I am fundraising on behalf of Grandmother Clara Soaring Hawk and Buffalo Wolf Bridge, Inc nonprofit. We are so incredibly grateful for your support in raising seed money for a very sacred project! Last December, Grandmother Clara and I met and came together in a good way, and what was serendipitous is that we had the same vision, a traditional Native Medicine Garden! Grandmother Clara Soaring Hawk, former Deer Clan Chief of the Ramapough Lenape, has been a leader in her community for years; she's a Teacher, Activist, Spiritual Ecologist, respected Elder, Artist, Youth Advocate, and Ambassador. She's a Water Protector, Speaker at Aniwa, and has most recently been chosen to help lead the Future 400 initiative, marking the 400th anniversary of Dutch settlers arriving in NYC. Basically, Grandmother Clara Soaring Hawk is a POWERHOUSE.

We are humbly asking for your help in the first phases of creating digital and paper marketing materials for donation requests, as this fundraiser will cover all legal costs associated with trademarking this project's logo and paying for promotional web design as well. This Interactive Native Medicine Garden is projected to be upwards of a million dollars to curate, located in upstate NY. The garden will include a bee farm as well, which will produce medicinal honey and natural medicines. This project is a celebration of traditional Native diet and foods, traditional medicines, Indigenous wisdom and teachings, and reciprocity with other Indigenous communities! Our mission is to revitalize the land our ancestors once walked, and to share the experience of repopulating Indigenous plants such as elderberry, squash, corn, beans, sweetgrass, sage, and tobacco.
