Support Aba Birhan's Medical Journey

We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. It is with a heavy heart that we share some challenging news regarding our beloved father, Aba Berhan Tekeste.

As many of you know, Aba Berhan has dedicated his life to serving God and guiding countless individuals on their spiritual journeys. He is currently serving at Gebe Gabriel Church in Ethiopia. His humility and unwavering commitment to the church have been a source of inspiration to us all. Among his many accomplishments, a few stand out:

1. Aba Berhan oversaw the establishment of Abinet School at Arba Hara Medhanialem Monastery, including a permanent disciples' feeding program.

2. He built a modern dormitory for the disciples of Abinet School at Bekie Mariam.

3. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Aba Berhan kept the congregation united by providing shelter and support to the disciples of Taeka Negest Clergies Training Center.

4. He is currently leading the Wadla Poetry [Qene] School project under the North Wollo Diocese, ensuring its disciples receive the necessary support to continue their studies.

5. Aba Berhan also organized donations of clothing for the Ark of the Covenant and priests' robes to several churches, including Taeka Negest Baeta Maryam, Menbere Mengest St. Gabriel, and Qusquam Maryam.

As you may know, Aba Berhan has been battling illness for some time. Thanks to your generous donations, he was able to receive treatment in Bangkok, Thailand. However, it has been determined that his treatment will continue in Ethiopia. Your ongoing support is crucial in covering the substantial costs of his medical care, including necessary dietary provisions.
