Hello team Abbey, a tremendous note of gratitude for the contributions so far. Everyone's contributions mean the world to Justine, Rick and the girls. Together more than $34,000 has been raised so far. Given the multitude of approaches being targeted to help beat this tumour and its nasty side effects, from diet to chemo, acupuncture to oxygen therapy, the costs are adding up. And if you've been reading the caring bridge entries (link below), you know that they are Melbourne-bound as the recent chemo has not quite done the job. Hello friends, I've put this together on behalf of Justine, Rick and the girls who have agreed to let us help them in the journey ahead. They just found out that their daughter Abbey has a tennis ball-sized tumour in her brain, so what was planned to be a family trip to the Whitsundays turned into a Royal Flying Doctor's flight to a hospital... and that was day 1 of 'holiday' last week.

As huge fans and lovers of this beautiful family, we're reaching out to our/their/the community to help them with the resources to tackle this challenge by helping to simplify the financial side of things.

They're going to need support for medical, travel and other unanticipated costs, with radiation and chemo coming their way soon. Where there are small bits of joy we can help build in, we're here for that, too.
