Support Abbey's Final Journey

6/27/2024 at 3:33 am Abbey passed away.I can say she went with a fight for days as her lungs from COPD constricted her oxygen.I want to say thank you to every person who has prayed and supported her family in this difficult time.May she get her wings and watch over us. Update 6/24/24:

On Saturday 6/22 Abbey was prepped for organ donation and received her honor walk. Unfortunately Abbey did not pass within the 90 minute allotment for the organs to go to those in need after having her life support removed with her daughter by her side.Abbey was trasferred to Vitas Hospice Care at Drake where she is being kept comfortable until she passes. Her vitals have been declining and they suspect she will pass within the next 24 hours or so. Thank you to everyone who has prayed and supported the family through this extremely difficult time.We are still trying to raise funds for direct creamation.

My name is Dani Meyer and I have created this go fund me in support of my sister Abbey and her children Cody, Mariah, and Ryan.

This has been an extremely difficult time for my family as we have unexpectedly lost 2 families members within 3 weeks of each other. On June 4th, Ryan tragically lost his daughter unexpectedly. On June 16th, the kids received the call that their mom Abbey was found unresponsive and had to be resuscitated 3 times, which unfortunately led to severe brain damage. Abbey was recently hospitalized and she was diagnosed with end stage COPD. Although Abbey suffered severe brain damage, her family has been working with Life Center to fulfill Abbey’s wishes to donate her organs.

Following my sister Abbey’s organ donation, her children have chosen a direct cremation. Please help me in supporting her children during this time. Thank you so much.
