Support Abby to recover from Hurricane Dorian

Hi. I am Kelly, from Seattle, Washington. Abby is a friend of mine from Abaco, Bahamas. I met her when she worked for me in the house we rented a few years ago. But I have kept in touch and we have seen her several times when we returned to the same house to rent. I keep in touch with Abby through facebook and FaceTime and she has told me her sad story about losing everything.
She and her husband and children have lost EVERYTHING. She now has to re-start her life in Nassau. She can't even go back to Abaco. She is a hard-working, loving mom is living with her cousin. She needs funding to rebuild her life and find housing and new belongings and food.
Abby has a daughter Abria - 21, a son Lamar - 17, a daughter Claytina - 7 , and a grand boy , Trajan Jr - 2.
FROM ABBY DIRECTLY:
It all started around 11:30 am Sunday, September 1.
Our roof came off and the ceiling was falling in, we had to make a decision to stay in the house or to make a run for it in the storm to our next-door neighbor, after battling getting out the back door and into our neighbors home their roof started to collapse as well, we all had to then stay in her laundry room including her family, until the eye pass to try another neighbor house.
When the eye of the storm came we quickly ran to the neighbors who were nice enough to let us stay with them to ride out the rest of the storm. After the storm was off we went back to see what has become of our apartment our home. It was then we had come to realization that everything we own including our home was gone, our clothes and shoes, our groceries our furniture and the whole roof and our vehicle - gone.
The aftermath of the storm was far worst, seeing the whole island of Abaco gone, our love ones and friends gone
I am honored to know her and all of your donations will go directly to helping her and her children. The funds will be spent on getting Abby and her family food, clothing, housing so they can establish a new life in Nassau.
Any amount helps! Even $5!
