On Sunday, January 14, our beloved Abe Horrillo experienced a tragic accident that has left him fighting for his life. He fell from a 4th-story balcony and is currently in the trauma unit at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, where he has access to some of the best medical care.

Abe has suffered multiple severe injuries, with the most significant impact on his spine and brain. As of now, he is not conscious, unable to breathe on his own, and not responding to brain stimulation. The road to recovery is uncertain, but we are holding onto hope and doing everything we can to support him in this critical time. As we navigate this difficult journey, we've learned that Zuckerberg SF General Hospital houses one of the best neurosurgeons in the country, giving us hope for Abe's recovery.

However, we face a challenging decision. While Zuckerberg SF General Hospital is providing exceptional care, there is pressure from Kaiser to move Abe. We firmly believe that keeping Abe at Zuckerberg SF General Hospital, with its top-notch medical expertise, is crucial for his chances of recovery.
