Help Adalberto Recover from Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Severe Head Injury

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

Hi, my name is Adalberto Sosa, and I’m reaching out for help as I recover from a life-altering event. A few weeks ago, I suffered a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) that caused me to collapse, resulting in a traumatic fall. I hit my head, creating a hole in my head and injuring my ear. Thankfully, I was brought back to life by the amazing staff at the YMCA "The Y," along with the incredible Canyon County Paramedics and the ICU team at West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, Idaho.

While my recovery has been remarkable, and for the most part, I am stable with no life-threatening concerns, I’m still dealing with a serious head wound that requires treatment three times a week. The healing process is ongoing, and it’s uncertain when I’ll be able to return to work.

To make matters more challenging, six months before this event, the company I previously worked for underwent an acquisition, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of my job. I had been managing to get by with severance and savings, but with my medical needs and inability to work, those resources have nearly run out.

As the sole provider for my household of six dependents, including three below the age of 17, my main priority is to focus on healing so I can regain my strength and resume providing for all of them. However, I need help during this time to cover my basic living expenses while I continue recovery. I have attempted to engage in several simple activities, but my body is not yet able to handle them, let alone be in a work setting.

With the right care and time, I am confident I will be back on my feet. But for now, I humbly ask for your support to help me make it through this difficult period. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference in ensuring I can heal properly and return to supporting my family.
