Help Support Adnan in His Recovery from Stroke

Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Strangers,

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to ask for support for my dad, Adnan, who recently suffered a stroke. While he is making progress, the road to recovery will be long and challenging, requiring extensive therapy, medication, and ongoing assistance. The stroke has left my dad in a very difficult condition.

He is currently unable to function normally, with significant challenges in movement, speech, and memory. He struggles to move, speak, and has trouble remembering things, which has greatly impacted his ability to live independently. Additionally, he is on six different medications to manage his recovery and symptoms, all of which come with their own challenges and side effects.

My dad has always been a caring, and strong person who has overcome so much in his life. This stroke has left him in need of significant medical care and support. Though there are slight improvements, the costs associated with his recovery are overwhelming, and we are asking for your help to ease this financial burden so he can focus on healing.

How your donations will help:

Neurology: Due to the severity of the intracranial hemorrhage and the cyst, I urgently need to consult with a neurologist to assess the brain bleed and cyst, determine the next steps for treatment, and explore potential surgery options.

Therapy and Rehabilitation: My dad will require intensive physical, speech, and occupational therapy to regain strength and independence.

Medications: His recovery requires six different medications, all of which are essential to his recovery but come with a financial burden.

Home Care Assistance: With limited mobility and independence, he will need in-home care for daily activities and support.

Travel and Transportation Costs: Getting to and from appointments can be difficult, so funds will go toward transportation and related expenses.

Most Recent CT Scan Results:

The doctors reviewed his last CT scan and found the following: Medical report from Hospital General dated March 12, 2025, for a 69-year-old male named Ali, Adnan. It details findings from a brain scan.

The conclusion indicates:

Intracranial Hemorrhage: Bleeding within the brain (pons and cerebellum) in a subacute, late stage.

Cerebral Atrophy: Shrinkage of the brain.

Arachnoidocele Grade IV: A cyst or sac involving the arachnoid membrane.

Rhinitis and Nasal Septum Deviation: Inflammation of the nasal lining and a shift in the nasal septum.

The report is signed by Dr. Juan Angel Martinez Palazuelos, a radiologist.
