Support Aemy Morris in Her Time of Need
Donation protected
We are reaching out to ask for help for a teacher in our school. Aemy is a dedicated educator who is loved by her students and colleagues. Also a mom of three, Aemy is a warm, caring, and kind person who is dealing with incredibly challenging situation. Aemy is suffering from Myelodysplastic syndrome -a rare blood cancer. This illness has been devastating to Aemy and her family as she has already endured years of sickness, medications, transfusions, and chemotherapy. Soon, Aemy will undergo a bone marrow transplant. This surgery will require her to be in the hospital for over a month, and then to receive outpatient care for months thereafter. At that time, Aemy will need to arrange temporary housing close to the hospital.
The journey to recovery is long, difficult, and costly. Between medical bills, treatment costs, and daily living expenses, the financial burden is overwhelming. Even with insurance, there are numerous out-of-pocket expenses for the transplant, follow-up care, medications, and the inability to work during recovery. We want Aemy to focus on her health and her family and we are hoping to ease the financial burden while she recovers. Any amount helps and we are so grateful for your support of our friend!
