Support Afghan judges, lawyers, women's activists

AFGHANISTAN - URGENT APPEAL

We need your help to provide support to Judges, lawyers, women’s rights activists, human rights defenders, and their families seeking to resettle from Afghanistan.

Many have have been forced to leave their jobs and are in hiding. – They need practical support immediately!

'I am Baroness Helena Kennedy, a barrister and politician, and head of the International Bar Association's Human Rights Institute. I am working with a large team of pro-bono lawyers in the United Kingdom and across the world to save the brave female Judges, lawyers, women's rights activists, and human rights defenders. They are in immense danger and need help immediately. Please support us so we can provide practical assistance.'

All money raised will help provide food and shelter, transportation, visa costs, and resettlement assistance for these women and their families.

Money will be withdrawn into the Master Charitable Trust and be used for resettlement costs. The original use of funds was for evacuation through the organisation Mercury One. This is a result of the significant progress with our work and the need to proceed with the next stages of the work.

Please give what you can to help these brave woman and their families who are in desperate need of relocation. No amount is too small, and all will be very gratefully received.
