Support Afghan Parwana Circus activities
Donation protected
Afghan Parwana Circus is excited to share that we have been granted permission by the Ministry of Education to work in three schools in Kabul for this academic year. This will allow us to expand our social circus programs to serve about 1500 students!
Social circus activities have many physical, mental, emotional, and social benefits. Juggling can help students improve focus, coordination, and build emotional resilience - so important for students who have experienced the trauma of living in a conflict zone. We have already started programs in two schools and as you can see in the photos and videos, the students are loving it!
However, in order to respond to this great opportunity to reach more kids, we need your help! Your donations to this campaign will allow us to purchase more equipment, provide training, transportation and stipends for our youth trainers who run the programs, and support the overall organizational expenses. You can help us to fund our programs through the end of 2023. Please share and support this campaign to help us bring joy and laughter to kids in Kabul!
Note: At this time we have only been given permission for boys schools. We are continuing to support our girl students through home-based programs and looking for opportunities to expand programming for them also
