On November 14th, my beloved cousin and best friend, Aala Ahmed, was involved in a devastating accident in South Central LA. At just 22 years old, Aala is a dedicated student at UCLA, pursuing her degree in Sociology. Alhamdulilah, she is alive, but the accident has left her with severe head, optical, and facial injuries, requiring multiple surgeries.
