Muhammad Afzaal Hussain was born in Pakiatan in 1994 and he came to United States to fulfill his American dream in 2016. He was killed on August 1st, 2022 when he was walking outside his apartment in Albuquerque New Mexico. Muhammad was a student leader, political & human rights activist and a city administrator. He was the first elected President of student body (GPSA), in the University of New Mexico (UNM) from South-Asian origin in the 135 year UNM history. After graduating from UNM he worked as campaign organizer for Congressman Melanie Stansbury (NM). Briefly serving at in city of Los Lunas he joined Espanola City administration as Director Land Use Planning. Hailing from a poor community he had dream of building an international standards High School in his hometown in (Pakistan) but his life was short. He died single with no kids. We want to fulfill his dream and keep his memory alive. We want to build a school that he dreamed of.
Afzaal Hussain Foundation is a registered a 501c(3) non-profit organization for this purpose. This is the first formal fundraiser for this project that requires US Dollar 1 million in total. This $100000 gofund will contribute towards land procurement initiative which we estimate of $250k. Please contribute generously to this project and give hope to the poor children.
