Support Aiberto's Taco Shop of Salem

Aiberto’s Taco Shop is a small family owned restaurant that is a staple of Salem, Oregon. Being a small business during these crazy times is stressful enough, but the owner and the dedicated employees have been determined to stay strong and pull through.
However, this small business is now having to cope with additional expenses after being the victim of arson twice.
The first incident took place on June 1st. A man entered the restaurant and caught the bathroom on fire. Just 5 days later the man came back and caught the back of the building on fire.
Thanks to video surveillance and the hard work of his hired security team, the man was caught and arrested. The man stated that he did this because the owner is Hispanic. Unfortunately, the man was released the same day because of overcrowding in the jail. This man has a long criminal history and should be behind bars. The employees, the owner and their families now all live-in fear that this man will come back and strike again.
All funds raised will go to covering the cost of repairs and the additional cost for security at the business and employees’ homes.
I would like to make note that the owner was very hesitant when a Go Fund me was suggested. He did not ask for financial help of any kind. I reached out to him to get permission to start this after seeing how many people in the community wanted to help. The owner is so incredibly grateful for all of the support through this tough time.
