Support Aiden through Care and Recovery

Hi, my name is Angela and this fundraiser is for our son Aiden.

Our family was on the Carnival Venezia cruise that was April 26 - May 6, 2024. While onboard, our son fell ill and we took him to medical onboard. They found that he had a rupture in his bowel and had him medevacked to North Carolina.

I am so touched by everyone’s care and worry about our son and our family. We are beyond grateful to have people who want to help in this way. We set this up for anyone who’d like to contribute. Thank you so much to everyone who has expressed well wishes and prayers and good thoughts for our sweet baby and the rest of our family. I can’t express to everyone how in awe I am at the outpouring of kindness and support.

I’ve seen several videos around the internet that people on the ship took of the helicopter evacuation and us getting hoisted up. At the end of one of them, the helicopter was starting to fly away from the ship and people were clapping and cheering. It was so heartwarming to see. It made me cry.

Many people have asked about a way to help monetarily. So I set this up for those who would like to do so.

I wasn't sure what to set the goal to, so I chose Aiden's insurance deductible + out of pocket max.
