Support AJ's Future in Memory of Dre

Gonzalo Andres Jijon, known to many as Dre, passed away tragically in a car accident on November 29th, 2024. It's hard to know what to write here, to try to summarize so much with so few words. He was my closest friend, a great friend to many, who left us too soon. He was a Marine. He was a pillar of Charlotte tattooing. He was a genuine person who was deeply sensitive, loving and loyal. He was charismatic and funny and surprisingly accepting and open minded. Most importantly though, he was a son and a father. He loved his son more than anything in the world.

You didn't have to be close to Dre to know that. He would talk about his son to clients, about how he was so smart and sweet and cool and how proud he was to be his dad. Through all of the ups and downs of life Dre made sure he could always contribute financially to AJ. And I know without any shred of doubt that in the wake of his passing the most important thing we can do to honor Dre is raise as much money as possible for AJ to go to college and do whatever great things he wants to do in life.

We ask in this time of suffering and loss for Dre's community to contribute what they can. Any amount helps towards the goal of alleviating the family's financial burden and ensuring AJ's future.
