Support AJ's Heart Transplant Journey

My son, AJ, had a massive heart attack on July 7, 2024, and has been out of work since then.

His heart condition worsened rapidly, and he has had six hospitalizations since then. He is currently in the hospital on an Impella device awaiting a heart transplant.

He was not able to receive CT paid leave as a federal employee and has had no income. He has filed for disability, but that can take months.

He has two young children and is a terrific father. After the transplant, the soonest he can get back to work would be six months.

He is a fantastic person who has always helped others. Many have asked about helping financially, and so we wanted to provide a mechanism to do that. These funds will be used to help cover the living costs for AJ and his boys. Your support is greatly appreciated!
