As a lot of people may not know, our baby girl, Alaia Rose who is 2 years old is highly susceptible to infection due to her rare primary immunological disorder, (hypogammaglobulinemia) CVID. Since she was about four months old, Alaia has experienced persistent health problems of gut, viral and bacterial infections. It took a while and a number of doctors to determine why she was having difficulties. She needs to have immunogammaglobulin replacement therapy infusions in order for her body to avoid her immune from attacking itself which is not covered by insurance.
