Support Alaia's Family After Devastating Eaton Canyon Fire

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Alaia Waters. My family and I have lost our home in the Eaton Fire in Altadena. The home my grandparents have been in for 50+ years.

On January 8th, 2025 around 4AM our Altadena home was burned down by the Eaton Canyon Fire. The home I grew up in, and returned back to as an adult. My grandmother and I left with just a suitcase. My grandfather left with nothing but the clothes on his back and the dogs. The loss of this is devastating and heartbreaking. We’ve loss almost everything.

My grandma and grandfather are in their 70s. Both retired. My grandmother is currently in remission from breast cancer as well. My grandfather is a military service veteran. He was a marine that served in Vietnam and now has retired from his family business. Me, the granddaughter works for SPUSD as a teacher’s assistant.

We are able to temporarily stay with family in this moment, but we will need help with temporary necessities. Any support in these difficult times would mean everything to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for anything you are able to give! ❤️
