ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE WORKERS ARE ON STRIKE TO SAVE THE JOBS OF 70 PEOPLE LAID OFF!

While we're on strike, UAW graciously offers us $100/day before taxes, up to $500/wk. This is still less than most people make working at Alamo (who already barely make enough to pay the bills). We are raising money for our coworkers so that they can make ends meet while they fight for their rights. Please donate whatever you can, and share this link around!

For clarity's sake, this money will be withdrawn by Bridget Squitire and will be distributed to all of the Alamo workers on strike by the Alamo NYC Treasury Committee. We know who is on strike based on Alamo's payrolls, which we are in the process of receiving, and based on sign-in sheets at each picket location/strike action. The funds will be split according to a form we sent out to assess people's financial stability or financial need.
