Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to you today to help my dear friend Roxy Chan and her beloved rescue dog, Albert, who also goes by Alberto, Al-bun-bun, Bert-o-bert. Aptly named after the great Albert Einstein for his unruly but endearing fur, Albert is the sweetest rescue and most loving companion you could ever imagine.

For the past few months, Albert has been experiencing significant pain. This pain has taken a toll on his well-being, lowering his appetite and forcing him to lay in uncomfortable positions to find some relief. Despite numerous scans and examinations, the cause of his suffering remains a mystery.

Albert's vet has recommended an exploratory surgery, a crucial procedure to potentially remove foreign materials from his stomach or intestines that might not appear on scans. The estimated cost of this surgery is $6,353, and this doesn’t include the post-surgery care that Albert will need to fully recover.

Alberto's paw-rents have been doing everything they can to provide him with the best care possible, but the financial burden is overwhelming.
