Support Aleacia Ingargiola's Road to Recovery

I am Samantha Rush, the mother of Aleacia Ingargiola. Monday night, she was a passenger in a horrible accident where she was ejected from the vehicle.

Injuries sustained are two neck fractures, fractures in her lower back, a broken collarbone, two broken ribs, two breaks in her pelvis—front and back, a large laceration on her forehead, a large laceration on her right leg, a laceration to the left carotid artery, and a severed patellar ligament. Tuesday, she had surgery for the severed patellar and had screws put in the front and back of her pelvis along with a bar that goes from hip to hip. She is also on blood thinners to dissolve the clots that are forming at the injury site of the carotid artery. She’s pretty limited on medications she can have for pain due to being 9 weeks pregnant.

As of now, we know she’ll be in the hospital for at least a month. From there, she will go to a rehabilitation center. The doctors say it will be at least 6 months before she can walk with a cane. She also has more surgeries ahead of her, but we’re not sure of the dates.

Right now, her biggest worry is making sure she still has a home to come to with her son when all of this is over. So, what I’m doing is trying to get funds together to make sure her rent and utilities are paid while she is going through this. I know that alone will ease her mind and be a big help!

She has a long road ahead of her, but I know she’s tough ❤️ I thank God that she’s still here.
