Support Alejandro's Family Through Crisis

Hi everyone, my name is Vanessa and I am trying my best to help this family who unfortunately have had a very hard time as of late. Two years ago, Alejandro, his wife, and 3 children came to this country from Colombia to start a new life. Since arriving, they’ve been hit with hardship after hardship. After dealing with an opportunistic landlord, all 5 moved into a one bedroom apartment to make ends meet. Alejandro obtained a license a few months ago and has been working to support the family as his wife is at home taking care of the kids. 

Unfortunately, due to their tough financial times, they bought any car they could with what they saved and yesterday, the steering wheel locked on him. In the stress of the moment, Alejandro swerved the car towards a tree. While he was not working at the time, he did have his young daughter, Samantha age 4, with him. 

Alejandro now has a broken arm, leg, and toes. Samantha has a broken hand, two lacerations in the liver and is being supplied with blood. Alejandro will be needing surgeries and the doctors are currently trying to do everything to avoid Samantha needing surgery as well. The mother, Andrea, is currently juggling taking care of her other two children and visiting her husband and daughter in the ICU.

My goal is to gather as much funds as possible to help support this family through the astronomical medical expenses they are incurring and to help get them through the next few months as Alejandro was their only source of income.
