Support for Alex and Her Boys After the Sudden Loss of Chris

Our hearts are broken. At the end of what was meant to be a joyful family vacation, our dear friend Chris passed away unexpectedly. The shock of this loss is immeasurable.

Chris was a peaceful, grounding presence in all our lives—a true gentle giant. His love for his family and friends ran deep, and it showed in everything he did. Our kids adored him. He had the kind of sweet, playful bond with them that left a mark on their hearts.

He was the husband who planned date nights and made sure his wife felt cherished. The fun, goofy dad who created “The Wolf Pack” with his two boys. A loving son who called his mom every night. The kind of friend who brought people together for burger nights, golf games, and family outings—he was already dreaming up our next adventure to a Gulls game this summer.

Chris had recently begun coaching his son’s sports teams, something that brought him so much pride and joy. As a lifelong sports lover, being on the field with his son and helping to guide the team meant the world to him—it was just another way he poured his heart into his family.

He gave his all to everyone—his wife, his kids, his parents, his brother, his extended family, his friends, and his work as a dedicated project manager for Environmental Systems.

Now, with Chris gone, life has changed forever for his family. Alex, his wife, is expecting their third child and facing a future none of us could have imagined. In this time of deep grief and uncertainty, we want to show up as their village.

Funds will support Alex as she takes time away from work to care for herself and her children, and will help provide for the boys’ future without the stability of their father’s income.

We’ll also be organizing a meal train to help ease the daily burdens. But right now, any financial support you're able to give will make a real and lasting difference.
