Support Alex Austin's Long Road to Recovery

My name is Krystin Wyant. My fiancé, Alex Austin, and I have been together for over 6 years. I have been a stay-at-home mother for the past five years. Our son is 5 years old and just started school. Our daughter is 3 years old. Alex has been the sole provider of our home.

On Monday, August 19, 2024, Alex was in a terrible motorcycle accident. He was on life support for 3 days and suffered many injuries to include some of the following:

· Severely damaged main heart artery requiring a stent

· Broken right leg

· Serious soft tissue damage which required wound vacs

· Broken nose

· Multiple lacerations over his body

· Collapsed left lung

· Broken left arm

· Possible spinal injuries

As of today, Thursday, August 22, 2024, Alex has woken up. He has taken sips of water, and he has been talking. He is making some progress. The doctors feel that he will make a recovery. However, that will be a very long process. He will be out of work for a long time. I have made this GoFundMe in hopes of receiving some help (any kind of help) to assist us with getting through this time of hardship. No donation is too small, especially prayers. If you can’t help monetarily but can offer information on other resources available or offer some other help, please feel free to reach out to myself, or any of mine and Alex’s family. All donations will be used to help keep bills paid up (especially doctor bills), food, any supplies/products (medical supplies, prescriptions, medical equipment, etc.) needed to aid in Alex’s recovery (he does not have medical insurance at this time).
