Support Alexis and Trevor After Tragic Loss

My name is Amanda and I am hoping to raise funds for my niece Alexis’ little family who have been through a very difficult few weeks followed by a very tragic loss of their unborn daughter, Aurora Kathleen Moschiano.

A little back story: Alexis and Trevor’s first daughter, Alaia, was born at just twenty-four weeks gestation. She endured a very long and trying NICU stay with her parents right beside her through a lot of ups and downs. She is a little warrior who still continues to fight the preemie life battles fiercely!

In January, they announced they were very excitedly expecting another baby girl. ❤️ Along came February, Alaia fell ill and wasn’t able to fight this illness at home. She was then admitted to the hospital where they all endured a long, tiring, and emotional stay. Both Alaia and Alexis tested positive for RSV. Alaia’s compromised lungs could no longer do the job alone; she was placed on oxygen and given rounds of steroids and Lasix! She developed pneumonia, and things got worse before they got better. Alexis and Trevor stayed beside her throughout. Then they learned of some very tragic complications their unborn daughter faced, all while in the hospital with their first enduring all that she was going through.

Alaia was discharged on Saturday, Alexis went into labor on Monday, and Aurora made her entrance into this world that Tuesday, 3/4/25. Born too precious for earth, she gained her angel wings. ❤️

With all the tragedy, heartache, and no time to stop and breathe during either of these events, they’re still pushing their way through. They moved away from family and friends to North Carolina years ago. To know Alexis, Alaia, and Trevor is to LOVE them! The most perfect, precious little family. My heart is breaking, as are the hearts of many of their family and friends!

Since we’re not able to be there with them through this very tough time, I thought I’d share this to help show our love and support! They deserve to mourn their daughter and keep Alaia thriving without worrying about finances for a little. They did not ask for me to do this; I simply shared to see if everyone who loves them can show up for them during this very hard time. ❤️ I deeply appreciate every donation and every share!
