Support Alexis' Fight and Recovery

Hi Everyone, people were asking for updates on Peanut (Alexis) and the go fund me link for her care. She is just out of surgery where she had to have a craniotomy to relieve the swelling and pressure on her brain. It will be touch and go for several days as this is the major concern for now. Once she is stabilized they will be able to do a MRI to assess all the other injuries and broken bones that need to be fix. Please continue to say prayers for all involved.
She’s about to start her Senior year at South Haven High School this fall. She has participated in dance and swim for years. We know everyone is worried about her and we all appreciate it. Just pray for her while she continues to fight and recover.
Update: (As of 6/30/24) They are taking her out of the coma soon to see how her body reacts and they are going to try and give her some nutrients to see how her stomach handles it. She is out for CT now to see if everything looks the same as the last couple. They are talking about possibly fixing her leg and arm tomorrow at the same time to see if that helps her body react better. They can’t start reconstructing her face bones until she gets mri and she can’t get mri until they remove the pressure switch out of her head.
Update: 7/1/24 0100 Her vitals are good. Hopefully she goes in for surgery at 4am to try and fix a lot of her broken bones. They took her off the paralytic this afternoon so they could see how her body handles it. So far she is doing great vital wise. She does have a new brain bleed that showed up on her CT this afternoon but they said they were going to wait and see how it goes before they react to it. They are hoping it will fix itself. She is fighting
Thank you for all of your support and work you guys are doing on the fly for my sweet peanut we greatly appreciate it. - Angie
