Support Alexis's Battle Against Breast Cancer
Donation protected
A couple of months ago, our dear friend Alexis noticed a lump in her breast. She did the right thing and immediately scheduled an appointment with her doctor, who referred her to get a mammogram—“just to be safe.” After a biopsy, Alexis received the news that no one ever wants to hear. At 3:53 PM on Thursday June 22nd, she was diagnosed with invasive Ductal Carcinoma.
Through this incredibly difficult time, Alexis has shown immense strength and courage. Despite the fear and uncertainty, she continued to be the wonderful mother and wife we all know her to be. Even taking her children to see "Inside Out 2" the very day she received her diagnosis, shielding them from her own pain and fear.
Alexis is married to a dedicated army veteran, JP, and they have two beautiful children. She faced a bilateral mastectomy yesterday, July 25th, and will be out of work for several weeks. In addition to the physical and emotional toll, the financial burden of out-of-pocket medical costs for the surgery is significant.
Alexis has always been the type of person who looks out for everyone else. Now, it's our turn to look out for her. We are asking for your support to help alleviate some of the financial stress so she can focus on her recovery and her family. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference and will be deeply appreciated.
Please keep Alexis, JP, and their children in your thoughts and prayers during this unimaginable time. She is a fighter and, with our help, she will get through this.
Thank you all for your love, support, and generosity
