Support Alex's Cancer Battle and Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Alex. In October 2024, at just 31 years old, I was diagnosed with oral cancer—a diagnosis that came as a complete shock. To treat the cancer, I underwent a lengthy, all-day surgery where half of my tongue was removed and reconstructed. My lymph nodes were also removed as part of the procedure. I spent a week in the hospital recovering from the surgery, but unfortunately, the journey didn’t end there.
Because the cancer had spread to my lymph nodes—and given my young age and lack of clear risk factors—I now face an aggressive treatment plan that includes both radiation and chemotherapy to ensure the cancer is completely eradicated.
While I’m fortunate to have health insurance, it doesn’t cover everything. The out-of-pocket costs for my surgery, hospital stay, and ongoing treatments are overwhelming. I’m reaching out for help because I want to focus fully on my recovery and regaining my health without the constant stress of financial strain.
Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing my story, would mean the world to me. Your kindness would ease the financial burden and allow me to direct my energy toward healing.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and encouragement during this challenging time.
