Support Alex's Family After His Passing

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Officer Alex Cricelli on January 26, 2025, after an unexpected and extended hospital stay.

Alex was a dedicated member of the Bryn Athyn Police Department since 2018. Before joining our team, Alex served 23 years with the Philadelphia Police Department, spending much of his career with their Narcotics Task Force. Known for his extraordinary ability to detect and combat crime, Alex received many accommodations and awards throughout his distinguished career.

Alex was fearless, confronting danger head-on to protect our community. He personified the courage and commitment that defines our profession.

Alex is survived by his wife, Maureen, and his daughter, Alexis. He was an amazing husband and father. Everything he did was for them. His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him and served alongside him. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

We have started this fundraiser to help cover the costs of his funeral expenses and to help support his wife and daughter, who Alex worked so diligently to guide and support.
