Support Alex's Journey to Journalism Excellence

Hello everyone! My name is Alex Salcedo and I am a staff writer and photographer for my school’s student publication, The Pearl Post. I seek support and I hope you can help me raise the money to attend the National High School Journalism Convention, which is being held in Seattle, Washington.

The convention will be from April 23-27, where hundreds of students and I will refine and expand our journalism skills through workshops and contests that are overseen by professionals. This will be the second time attending the convention, where I hope to gain experience and grow with those around me. Thank you for your time and support!!
