Hello! I’m Aley Cruz, a mother of 4 and wife for the last 14 years of my life. Recently my husband needed emergency open heart surgery due to an aortic dissection. A week after his operation we had to rush back to the hospital. He was bleeding out through his urine. My husband developed a rare blood disease called TTP. Though we were finally approved for medical insurance through the state, it wasn’t until after a month had passed since we began this endeavor. We are completely broke.
